PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance management system for electronic exchanges where one maintenance terminal periodically and automatically checks the electronic exchanges via the Internet so as to apply maintenance management to them. SOLUTION: An identification code is given to an electronic private branch exchange PBX 3, a maintenance terminal MP 1 stores data such as the station data of the electronic private branch exchange PBX 3 corresponding to the identification code, the maintenance terminal MP 1 collates the data such as the station data stored therein with data such as the station data of each electronic private branch exchange PBX 3 and matches both at all times so as to keep the data such as the station data of the electronic private branch exchange PBX 3 up-to-date.
