PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection member for a battery for surely connecting cylindrical cells which are arranged in parallel in the radial direction. SOLUTION: The connection member or the battery comprises a first planar connation part as one plate material as a whole for contacting the bottom of one cell and a second connection part extending from the first connection part and having an opening from which a positive electrode terminal of the other cell can protrude and a circular recessed portion for contacting a sealing plate of the other cell or a plane portion formed at a level difference from the first connection part.
