PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, capable of preventing damages to the lock part, without impairing workability of the mounting work, when the mounting of a spacer member to a housing body is stopped. SOLUTION: This connector 23 is provided with the housing body 27 having a terminal housing chamber 33 for inserting a terminal 25; the lock part 35 formed in the housing body 27 and having flexibility for locking the terminal 25 with the terminal 25 inserted properly into the housing chamber 33; and spacer member 29 mounted to the housing chamber 33 and coming into contact with the lock part 35 to be stopped from being mounted to the housing body 27, when the terminal 25 is inserted incompletely into the housing chamber 33; a displacement-restricting means 37, for restricting the displacement of the lock part 35 in the mounting direction of the spacer member 29 to the housing body 27 with the spacer member 29 in contact the lock part 35, is installed in the housing body.
