PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent trip device of a circuit breaker capable of being easily assembled in a very small space in a case. SOLUTION: In this overcurrent trip device, shaft parts 16d and 160d allowing the coil parts 18 and 180 of return springs 18 and 180 to be inserted thereon, a first spring hooking part 16b for hooking one leg 18b of the return springs 18 and 180, and a second spring hooking part 16f for hooking the other leg 18c of the return springs 18 and 180 are installed in armatures 16 and 160. A projected part 13b for pressing the other leg 18c when the arm part 16c of the armatures 16 and 160 is fitted into the groove part 17a of a case 17 to release the other leg from the second spring hooking part 16f and a spring hooking part hook 13d for holding the other released leg 18c at a specific position are installed on a fixed magnet 13.
