PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor drive device which can always use a power of a capacitor when a motor requires a large drive force for acceleration, etc., in a short time. SOLUTION: A regenerative circuit 11 comprising a series circuit of a regenerative capacitor 8 and a regenerative transistor 9 is connected in parallel with a first drive diode 6 provided in series between a battery 1 and a DC motor 2 so as to make a current flow in a forward direction from the battery 1 to the DC motor 2. The regenerative transistor 9 of the regenerative circuit 11 is turned on and off according to a voltage between both ends of a smoothing capacitor 5 connected in parallel with the DC motor 2 to charge the regenerative capacitor 8. |
