PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless communication on the side of a communication terminal on the outside of a ring network to be connected with a node device when a node isolated state to disable communication between opposed node devices is generated. SOLUTION: A bit to indicate outgoing/incoming direction of connection is imparted to data to be transmitted from the transmitting side of the node device 100f, as for an error correction code, the ones with different values are transmitted according to the direction of the connection, the node isolated state is recognized based on a directional bit and the error correction code to be imparted on the transmitting side at a receiving part of the node device 100f and a signal to make an IBR 50a connected with the outside of the node device 100f perform a call interruption processing and release of a line is outputted when the node isolated state is generated.
