PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a choke coil the normal-mode impedance characteristic of which can be adjusted easily without changing the structure or shape of its core especially. SOLUTION: This choke coil is constituted by winding wires A and B around the core 1. This coil has a regularly wound section 11 in which the wires A and B are alternately regularly wound, and individually wound section 12 in which the wires A and B are individually regularly wound. The wound sections 11 and 12 are electrically connected in series. In addition, the regularly wound section 11 is connected to signal input electrodes 3a and 3b, and the individually wound section 12 is connected to signal output electrodes 4a and 4b. It is also possible to position either one 11 or 12 of the wound sections 11 and 12 to the central part of the core 1 and the other section 12 or 11 on the left side or right side of the section 11 or 12.
