TURNTABLE AND DISK ROTATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turntable which enables accurate processing for an optical disk by accurately and securely mounting and rotating the optical disk without any slackness and a disk rotating device which includes the turntable. SOLUTION: The turntable TB has a circular center cone SC which positions the disk in rotation by being fitted in a center hole SH formed in the center part of the disk DK to be rotated and has its center eccentric with the center of rotation of a motor rotating the disk DK are equipped with two leaf springs BN1 and BN2 which energize the internal wall of the center hole SH toward the outer periphery when the center cone SC is fitted in the center hole SH at positions of the external edge of the center cone SC in the opposite direction from the center of the turntable TB with respect to the center of rotation of the motor and at positions of 60 deg. which are open in the outer-peripheral direction of the disk around the center of rotation of the motor.
