PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an account unsettled person from leaving a store by warning of dumping of an unsettled account settling means, carrying it out of the store, or the like. SOLUTION: The amount of money to be settled for food and drink which a customer ate and drank in a restaurant or an eating house is recorded in the account settling means equipped with an unsettlement warning mechanism 22, and the dumping of the unsettled account settling means and carrying it out of the store are detected by a detecting mechanism 24 disposed in the store. Warning is given by the detecting mechanism 24 or/and the unsettlement waning mechanism 22 to detect the account unsettled person. The number of the customer and the companions who entered the store is recorded in the account settling means, and the number of persons recorded in the account settling means is collated when settling the account. The account unsettled person is thereby prevented from leaving the store.
