SOLUTION: The file processing apparatus (file system) provided with a buffer pool 103 comprising a plurality of system I/O buffers 108 is provided with a file association storing means 109 for holding a fact that a plurality of files are related to each other, and files contained in the related file group share a single system I/O buffer 108. The quantity of the system I/O buffers 108 that the files contained in the file association storing means 109 can use is limited to thereby reduce input/output about other files.
