PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply install a control program for controlling a device to be controlled, without user's operations. SOLUTION: When a household electrical appliance 9 is connected to a home network, the household electrical appliance 9 informs a home server 7 of the connection to the home network. The home server 7 requests a gateway server 3 to send a URL storing a control program (household electrical appliance driver) of the connected household electrical appliance 9. The gateway server 3 transmits the URL to the home server 7, in response to this request. The home server 7 downloads the household electrical appliance driver via the Internet 1, on the basis of the URL and installs the driver.
