PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency vehicle priority passage support system providing smooth and quick emergency activity by an emergency vehicle by signaling a precedently traveling common driver beforehand that the emergency vehicle will soon pass, even without direct confirmation by the driver of an approach of the emergency vehicle, and securing smooth priority traveling of the emergency vehicle. SOLUTION: When a central processor 15 recognizes traveling of the emergency vehicle with flashing revolving lights from information picked up by a monitoring camera (VC) 11 and processed by an image processor 12 and it recognizes a warning sound by a siren sound of the emergency vehicle from information acquired by a sound collecting microphone 13 and processed by a sound analysis processor 14, it activates a vehicle type determining part 17 and a vehicular travel determining part 18.
