PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power application method enabling only a person permitting the usage of an electronic device to apply a power by setting a portable telephone to a key. SOLUTION: The electronic device is provided with a power application security check circuit and the portable telephone is connected to the power application security check circuit of the electronic device. Only when the telephone number registered in a telephone number registration memory by the power application security check circuit and a connected telephone number of the portable telephone are accorded with each other, the power is applied to the electronic device.
