PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle audio unit that can output interruption sound from a front speaker and reproduces low-frequency sound components of an audio reproduction sound using a simple configuration, while being shifted forward. SOLUTION: A 1st equalizer 40a controls an audio reproduction sound to have a preferred frequency characteristic in the case of low-sound frequency front shift reproduction and a rear speaker 7a outputs the controlled sound, a 2nd equalizer 40b receives the signal subjected to frequency characteristic control by the 1st equalizer 40a, the 2nd equalizer 40b emphasizes the low-sound frequency component and a front speaker 7b outputs the result. In the case of interrupted sound output, the rear speaker 7a outputs an audio reproduction sound, whose frequency characteristic is preferedly controlled by the 1st equalizer 40a and an interrupted sound signal is given to the 2nd equalizer 40b, which controls the signal to have a frequency characteristic, where the sound frequency band is made to outstand and the result is outputted from the front speaker 7a.
