METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANAGING IMAGE AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that databases which are not essential to a user and which store reduced image are scattered to system files, that they cannot easily be deleted and they oppress a system file since the database storing the reduced image are formed under the control of respective development directories in an image managing method for displaying the reduced images corresponding to the respective image files when the directories and the image files in a file system are managed and the constitution of the image file of the development directory is displayed conventionally. SOLUTION: In the image management method, the reduced images corresponding to the respective image files are displayed when the directory and the image file in the file system are managed and the constitution of the image file in the directory is displayed. A procedure for generating the reduced image corresponding to the image file of the development directory in a directory unit under the control of the specific directory and unifying the files is provided for the method.
