PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid such a phenomenon that a tracking error signal from a pregroove or the information signal from a prepit greatly vary according to the coating conditions of dyes and to optimize the tracking error signal from the pregroove for a write-once-read-many optical information recording medium or to optimize both of signals from the pit in a ROM part and the tracking error signal from the pregroove at a time for a hybrid optical information recording medium. SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium used for the method is produced by successively depositing a metal reflection layer 11, a recording layer 12 containing dyes formed by a solvent coating method, and a protective layer 13 on a substrate 10 having guide grooves for tracking with the track pitch P (μm) satisfying 0.6×λ/NA<=P<=0.8×λ/NA, wherein λ is the wavelength (μm) for recording and reproducing and NA is the numerical aperture of the objective lens. The wavelength for recording and reproducing ranges from 400 nm to 550 nm. |
