PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearing type stereoscopic video image display device where a viewer does not need to wear eyeglasses or the like, and allows the viewer to view a present video image and a restored video image of relics or the like, while simplifying the control system and the device itself and lowering the scale of the device and the manufacture cost or the like, even if the viewer moves or the viewer changes the sight of line. SOLUTION: While a wearing fixture 5 mounted on the shoulder of the viewer 2 supports a stereoscopic video display device 6, so as to bring the display device 6 in front of the viewer 2, the stereoscopic video display device 6 allows a position/ direction detector 7 for detecting the position/direction of the viewer 2 or a position/ direction of the stereoscopic video display device 6 and a video generator 8 outputs a three-dimensional actual scene video signal or a three- dimensional restored video signal on the basis of the result of detection, so as to enable the viewer 2 to view a three-dimensional real scene image 9 or a three-dimensional restored image 10 of relics. |
