PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print out a title image with a plurality of colors. SOLUTION: First and second tile images are respectively binarized by respective binary circuits 14a, 14b and respectively inputted to 1at and 2nd tile memories 15a, 15b as 1st and 2nd title data. At the time of monitoring, respective data are read out from respective memories 13, 15a and 15b and sent to an image synthesis part 30. The image synthesis part 30 outputs 8-bit data of a color specified by TLCOROL1 when the 1st title data are inputted, and when there is no 1st title data and the 2nd title data are inputted, outputs the 8-bit data specified by TLCOROL2. When both the title data do not exist, image data are outputted and displayed on a color monitor 19. At the time of printing, respective data are similarly outputted from the image synthesis part 30 and a synthetic image is printed out on heat-sensitive recording paper 23.
