PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera system where number of installed image input cameras and image processing units can be decreased so as to reduce man-hours for camera adjustment and installation of the image processing units, the system introduction cost and maintenance cost can be reduced, and the image input camera and the monitor camera are contained in the same camera case so as to save the area for the installation. SOLUTION: Each monitor camera system comprises the image input camera that has a wide angle lens and forms an image of a monitoring area to obtain a monitor image, the monitor camera that traces an intruder by being turned around an extension line of an optical axis of the wide angle lens or vertically on the basis of intruder object information resulting from sensing the intruder from the monitor image and a turning section that controls the turning of the monitor camera and a vertical turning motion.
