PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use appropriate SH data alone (a measure to counter dust of SH), to the contrary effect at the time of mobile SH. SOLUTION: This image reader has a memory which stores the SH data to serve as a reference, and a line memory which is used at SH sampling, and this compares the reference SH data. Depending upon the comparison results, this takes an additional average by eliminating the SH data, and computes an SH correction.
