<p>The invention concerns compounds of formula (I) wherein: the dotted line represents a single or double bond; R1 represents a radical derived from an odorant alcohol of formula R1OH; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1 to C30 hydrocarbon radical, or an aliphatic or aromatic cycle having 5 or 6 carbon atoms, said radical R2 capable of comprising oxygen, sulphur or nitrogen heteroatoms; the symbols R3, R4 and R4, independently, represent a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1 to C20 hydrocarbon radical, optionally substituted, capable of comprising one or several heteroatoms, or together with the carbon atoms whereto they are bound can form monocyclic, bicyclic or tricyclic aromatic or aliphatic compounds, the radicals R3, R4 and R4 capable of comprising functional ester and carbamoyl groups so as to release several R1 OH odorant alcohol molecules for only one precursor molecule. Said compounds are novel compounds capable of releasing an odorant alcohol of formula R1OH when the ester bond is hydrolysed.</p> |
