<p>Has a choice (ET,ET1a), controlled from a server (SR) terminal (TE). between an attribute selection stage and a random selection where the most selected of one of the attributes remains for selection.. Method for product choice for a product in an electronic group of products (EP) memorized in a server (SR,BD) interacting with a terminal (TE). Each product (Pm) being defined by several attributes (A1-AN). The method includes the following iterative stages: (a) decompose (ET8) by the server the group of electronic products (EP) into a predetermined number of product categories (C1-CI) so that the server identifies respective products as representative (RP1-RPI) of the categories; select (ET9) at the terminal one (RPI) of the representatives to control the execution of one of the following stages in the server if the selected representative is not taken; suppress (ET10,ET11, ET12) the category (CI) corresponding to the selected representative (RPI) in the group of products (EP) so that the server applies the decomposition stage to the product group thus reduced if it is not restricted to a non de-composable category; choose (ET13,ET14,ET5) the category (CI) corresponding to the selected representative (RPI) to reduce the product group (EP) to the corresponding category so that the server applies the decomposition stage to the corresponding category if it is not restricted to the selected representative; select (ET1) at the terminal (TE) one of the attributes (An) so as to execute the following stages; order (ET2, ET3) by order of preference (Oan) the values of the selected attribute (An) so as to decompose the remaining group of products into a number of categories (C1-CI) respectively dependent on the order of preference of the values of the attribute; modify (ET4,ET5) an order of preference (Oan) for values of the selected attribute (An) so as to decompose the remaining group of products as a function of the modified order of preference for attribute values; suppress (ET6,ET7) an order of preference (Oan) for values already ordered of selected attribute (An) so as to decompose the remaining group of products as a function of ordered values for other attributes previously selected.</p> |
