PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a portal service only for personal use only targeted at a cabin user by mounting an on-vehicle computer or a portable terminal or a portable information terminal connectable to a network on a vehicle and introducing an agent system. SOLUTION: A portal server 20 starts the agent system after acquiring the information on the present position and taste of a user, and the agent system retrieves a specific service by moving on the networks 40 and 50 and returns to the portal server 20 so that the vehicle user can acquire necessary information. By utilizing the agent system, various types of application services can be received during the traveling of the vehicle without requiring a continuous connection of a line until the processed results are returned after a request is transmitted after the agent system is started, and without so depending upon a line quality.
