PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PHS terminal that can surely eliminate overlapping of waiting timings in a short time, when the waiting timings are overlapped in a dual waiting mode. SOLUTION: An overlapping detection section 11 of a PHS terminal 10 operational in the dual waiting mode always monitors timings, when a control channel of a 1st communication system and a control channel of a 2nd communication system arrive to detect the overlapping of the timings. When the overlap detection section 11 detects overlapped timings, a synchronization establishment section 12 establishes synchronization of other control channels transmitted by a base station of the 1st communication system, having awaited and transmitted the control channel. A notice information acquisition section 13 acquires notice information required to bring the control channel, whose synchronization is established by the synchronization establishment section 12 to a waiting state from a private base station. |
