PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structure a new commodity sales channel, and to realize new commodity sales business by mediating acts of gift giving, between participants in an anonymous community. SOLUTION: This electronic gift shop system is realized by an information processing system, made from a computer connected to the Internet and programmed. A gift sender selects a gift requesting commodity and a payment settlement means therefor from a database of the system, and applies for gifting by designating an anonymous gift receiver. This system sends a message regarding the gift giving and indicates the commodity requesting the gift to the gift receiver. The gift receiver designates response to the gift, and a delivery method if accepting the gift, and inputs event into a personal computer. The system, recognizing this phenomenon, deals with gift giving according to information obtained from the sender and the receiver, and deals with settlement procedures and delivery procedures, as the need arises. |
