PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable location determination system for presenting information to a user concerning a near site. SOLUTION: A location database system provides information concerning the near site to the user. The system includes a processor which is constituted to identify the present location of the system by using a GPS(global positioning system). The processor is related to a clock which provides real-time information. The processor also communicates with a remote database of a site through the use of radio connection. The database comprises relevant information concerning the site which is of interest to a user of the system, such as locational information, imaging information, an image and tour-guide type information. The display provides the visual display of the relevant information to the user. The system also provides setting information for a camera and also provides a direction to a particular site on the basis of a selected view as seen on a display.
