PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile audio/visual device in which functions can be easily selected or changed over. SOLUTION: A display section 30 of the mobile audio/visual(AV) device displays a menu image 60. Function selection items 62 corresponding to as plurality of functions of the AV device are arranged on the menu image vertically and a cursor 64 to point out a selected item is displayed. A jog switch can move the cursor 64 in the vertical direction. A function is selected by instructing a desired item with the cursor 64 and entering the instruction with the jog switch.
