PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital television receiver or the like that displays stored information relating to a program in cross-reference with the program so as to provide effective information to both an information provider and viewers. SOLUTION: A broadcast contents storage section 103 stores program attribute information 302 included in digital broadcast data, an information storage section 107 stores advertisement information 303, and a keyword storage section 106 stores a database generated from the advertisement information 303 and keyword and identification information 305 or the like. A selection section 105 acquires the program attribute information 302 from the storage section 103, accesses the database to search the database according to an item and a value of the program attribute information 302 and gives matching identification information 305 to a control section 104. Thus, a display section 2 displays the advertisement information 303 corresponding to the identification information 305 within a range of a quantity N in interlocking with the most suitable program.
