<p>The silencer is built into air ducts of ventilation and air conditioning installations for performing artificial sound silencing. It has a simplified and safe in operation design and longer operational life. It consists of a supporting housing (1) the internal surfaces (5, 6) of which have a layer of extruded polyethylene (3). In the housing (1) noise-absorption elements (2) are fitted having a flow around shape fitted in at least two parallel rows (4). Elements (2) along their entire lengths are executed of homogenous material and are covered by a noise-absorbing layer (3) made of extruded polyethylene, the thickness of which is at least 5 times bigger than the thickness of the noise-absorption elements (2). 5 claims, 3 figures</p> |
