SOLUTION: This lane overstepping detecting device is composed of two TV cameras C12, C2 mounted on both sides of a vehicle A, lane marker detecting parts D1, D2 for detecting the lane marker such as a white line and the like from the images inputted from the TV cameras C1, C2, and a lane overstepping determining part E for determining whether the vehicle oversteps a traveling lane or not on the basis of a position or the presence or absence in the image of the lane markers detected by the lane marker detecting parts D1, D2. |
