The invention relates to a d. c. electronic commutation motor, used especially for operating pumps. According to the invention, the motor is characterized in that the windings (112 and 113) of the yokes (11) have a length of at least 50% of the active magnetic yoke length, the four U-shaped yokes (11) bearing the windings (112) which form, round a circular line, eight magnetic poles (111), the rotor (12) rotating therebetween, said rotor having six salient poles (121) separated by non-magnetic gaps (22), the rotor poles (121) being united by means of a circular magnetic yoke (123).
