PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control technology which can efficiently charge a secondary battery of an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: There are provided a means which detects a differential value between a maximum allowable charging current allowed by the secondary battery and a charging current applied to the secondary battery, a means which detects a differential value between a lowest allowable output voltage allowed by an external power supply and a voltage outputted by the external power supply, and a means which controls a charging circuit to generate a maximum charging current within a range that the charging current applied to the secondary battery does not exceed the maximum allowable charging current, and the voltage outputted by the external power supply is not lower than the lowest allowable output voltage according to the two differential values.
