PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a copper foil with aluminum carrier, which is effective for preventing flaws or dents due to foreign matters in which occurrence of a flaw, mixture of foreign matters, wrinkles, creases, and the like, are prevented during normal cutting, packaging and transportation by enhancing the handling performance of an very thin copper foil and preventing contaminants, e.g. resin powder of a prepreg sheet, from adhering to the surface of the copper foil. SOLUTION: The copper foil with aluminum carrier is produced, by coating the surface of an aluminum foil being bonded to a copper foil with a thermosetting resin and sticking the aluminum foil to the copper foil via the thermosetting resin; and the copper foil is used in a printed board.
