PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information outputting device for a vehicle capable of presenting only the information which is not recognized by a driver, but is necessary for the driver from various pieces of information necessary for the driver of a vehicle, such as the information on an oncoming vehicle, a sign, and the existence of a sharp bent. SOLUTION: This device determines that the driver knows an object of the road traffic information detected by a road traffic information detecting means, when the object is included in an image detected by a self-vehicle circumferential image detecting means, and does not present the information relating to the object. In other words, as the information is presented only when it is determined that the driver needs the information, the botheration caused by the frequent presentation of information can be prevented. Further as only the necessary information on the circumference of the vehicle which is not seen from the driver himself, is presented, the confusion caused by the presentation of the information on the object which the driver has already known, can be prevented.
