ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TRANSFER PAPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrophotographic transfer paper hardly causing curl after transfer when used in an electrophotographic copying machine in which a toner is heat-fixed, causing no running trouble in the copying machine and excellent in work efficiency and to provide a method for producing the electrophotographic transfer paper. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic transfer paper is obtained by coating base paper with 0.01-0.12 g/m2 coating weight of a cationic softening agent containing a polyamide and a polyethylene glycol distearate. In the method for producing the electrophotographic transfer paper, a gate roll coater system is used as a size press system for coating the base paper with the cationic softening agent.
