摘要 <p>A poly(trimethylene terephthalate) multifilament yarn which has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.7 to 1.1 dlg, a single yarn fineness of 3.3 to 8.9 dTex, an elongation at break of 36 to 60 % and a fineness fluctuation value (U%) of 1.2 % or less; and a twisted yarn manufactured from the multifilament yarn. The multifilament yarn can be produced under conditions wherein the distance between cores of spinnerets is 5 mm or more, a spinning temperature is 255 to 275deg;C, the surface temperature of a spinneret is 255deg;C or higher, and the product of a linear velocity (V) of discharge of a molten polymer and an intrinsic viscosity [eegr;] of the polymer is 5 to 12 (mmin)(dlg). The mutifilament yarn and the twisted yarn are suitably used for stretch clothing, and the above method is markedly advantageous in commercial production, since it allows the suppression of stains around a hole of a spinneret during melt spinning, which results in the prolongation of wiping cycle.</p>
