<p>The bandage can be used to satisfy daily needs for hygiene. It blots the sweat in the area of active perspiration and protects the skin and clothes. Its anatomic shape makes it convenient for daily use without impairing the movement of the arm, and without forming any discomfort. The bandage comprises a water impermeable pad (1), on which a layer of hygroscopic matter (2) is applied. The shape of the pad (1) is round having two trapeze-like extensions (3), fitted in the opposite side with a sticky layer on their inner free end. Perpendicular to the extensions, an elastic shoulder strap (4) is fitted to be held across the shoulder. Between the pad (1) and layer (2), there can also be a layer (5) of absorbing substance for better retention of the sweat. The external side of the pad (1) can have decorative elements enabling the bandage to be used as a fashion accessory. The pad can also be aromatized. 4 claims, 3 figures</p> |
