<p>The invention relates to a method for encoding and decoding a stream of digital data encoded by spatio-temporal combinations, in multiple transmission and reception. Upon transmission, the initial stream (IDS) is externally encoded (A), interleaved by blocks (B), demultiplexed (C) on numerous channels, internally encoded Κm on each channel, and subsequently transmitted to numerous (ξ) different antennae forming a spatial diversity network. Upon reception, the streams of transmitted encoded symbols are observed (F) by means of a number of receiving antennae that are independent of the number of transmitting antennae. The streams of observed encoded symbols {MSDSr} ?r=ς ¿r=1 are subjected to turbo-detection by joint equalisation and decoding (G), deinterleaving (H), external decoding (I), interleaving (J), in order to generate a priori (api) information on the encoded bits that are reinserted (K) in the turbo-detection process. The inventive method can be used to create a universal radiofrequency interface, particularly in radiotelephony.</p> |
