PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing automatic home security using wired and wireless communication networks and a method therefor are provided to efficiently manage securities of a building and internal and external portions of the building by remotely measuring data for the security management of states of the internal and external portions of the building and persons or animals and plants located in the internal portion and providing various information obtained from the measured result to a user in real time through the wired and wireless communication networks. CONSTITUTION: An SDM(Security Data module)(10) is attached to a suitable position of internal and external portions of a building(1) for measuring and analyzing states as to security, performing an emergency treatment, and transmitting security management data. A security information control server(3) receives and analyzes the security management data transmitted from the SDM(10), obtains information necessary for the security management of the building(1) and the internal and external portions of the building(1), and provides obtained security management information to user terminals(4-6) such as a computer system, an Internet TV, and a car PC in real time using wired and wireless communication networks.
