PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a keypad for a cellular phone is provided to enhance a touch and a durability of the keypad by forming integrally a filling tip at a recess portion of an elastic film, and securing a comfortability of a key top portion and the filling tip and a contact between the filling tip and a printed circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION: A keypad for a cellular phone is formed through a printing process, a forming process, an insert injection molding process, and a cutting process. A printed layer(3) of a character or a diagram is formed on bottom of a transparent elastic film. In the forming process, the elastic film including the printed layer is placed between a pair of molding, and pressed, the elastic film having a plurality of a key top portion(2a) is formed. In the insert injection molding process, the elastic film formed from the forming process is inserted between the pair of molding, fills a synthetic resin into a recess portion(2b) of the key top portion, and forms a filling tip(4). The filling tip(4) is comprised of a tip body(4a), a connecting sheet portion(4b) and a pressing protrusion(4c).
