<p>The present invention relates to a data communications server (1) capable of supplying ringing tones to receivers, as well as a corresponding method of allocating ringing tones. The server comprises a system (2) for managing at least one list of available ringing tones which are associated respectively with at least one set of receivers, and a user interface (4). The list-management system is capable of updating each of the lists by eliminating at least the ringing tones already supplied to receivers of the set associated with this list. Advantageously, the server comprises a generator (5) of musical ringing tones and/or the management system stores lists of unavailable ringing tones in a memory (6), these lists corresponding to the ringing tones already supplied.</p> |
