<p>A target recognizing device that creates a template concerning a target by itself. The device comprises a robot camera (1) for creating continuous image showing a target and an arithmetic operation unit (2) for controlling the robot camera (1). A robot camera (1) acquires continuous image information by means of a camera (11) rotatable by a motro (12). The arithmetic operation unit (2) comprises a template management section (22) for allowing an update part (28) to update a template stored in a template storage part (29) and a target recognizing section (21) having an image storage part (23) where the acquired image information is stored, a recognizing part (24) for recognizing a target by using the template, and a motion command part (25) for rotating a camera (11) according to the result of the recognition.</p> |
