LEG EXERCISING APPARATUS

Leg exercising apparatus (100) is formed from a first, substantially pear-shaped sheet (110) being bonded face-to-face with a second substantially pear-shaped sheet, around the periphery of each. The two sheets (110) are also bonded to one another along a line of symmetry of each pear-shaped sheet (110) so as to create two air-tight chambers joined to one another by a restriction. The apparatus (100) is inflatable by way of a valve (130). Each chamber is arranged to receive a respective foot of an operator and arranged to be deflated under action of the respective foot to pass air, via the restriction, to the respective other chamber. Each chamber, when inflated is substantially wedge-shaped, a narrow end of each chamber corresponding to a heel-receiving portion of that chamber. Thus, movement of each foot during operation is angular movement pivoting about the respective heel, the heel remaining on a surface on which the apparatus (100) is positioned.
