<p>A mounting for a power unit (4) for motor vehicles, comprises a support (12) and a support plate (13) fixed thereto, which may be detached in the case of a collision, whereby the support plate (13) is connected to the support (12) in a number of places (14). According to the invention, a power unit mounting may be achieved which guarantees a steady deceleration, whereby a separating device (25; 55; 65) is provided, which separates the support plate (13) from the support (12). The separating device (25) can be a part of the support plate (13) or fixed thereto and is forced between support plate (13) and support (12) in the case of a collision.</p> |
