The method involves separately treating the data signals (8) and the reference signals (10) before pre-correction. The data to be transmitted to different receiver stations are spread using different codes. The transmission characteristics of all radio channels and all codes are taken into account during pre-correction. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for pre-correction of CDMA encoded data signals.
