The load carrier (1) is placed on the base (5) of the boot space and can be moved in longitudinal direction of the vehicle. It consists of three separate stiff panels (6,7,8) positioned in longitudinal direction and connected via hinges. The rear first and the second section are joint via a first hinge (9) in such a way, that they can be folded into an upright position, and the third section, which is connected to the second one via a second hinge (10) is moved to a distance relative to the front wall, to ease loading/removal of objects to/off the third panel.
