A fixing device comprises a fixing clip (13), for precise assembly of a fuel injection valve (3). A spring element (10) is arranged between a first spring housing (9), on a fuel distribution line (2) and a second spring housing (12), on the fuel injection valve (3). A first mounting clip arm (14) rests in a first mounting clip housing (15) and a second mounting clip arm (16) rests in a second mounting clip housing (17), such that the spring element (10) tensions the fuel distribution line (1) and the fuel injection valve (3) against each other such that the fuel distribution line (1) and the fuel injection valve are positively held in position on the fixing clip arms (14,16). After assembly of the fuel distribution line (1) the fixing clip may be detached and removed.
