PURPOSE: An apparatus for paging a telephone having a remote control function is provided to automatically execute and process series of works for confirming and testing whether the telephone is normally operated. CONSTITUTION: A data converting unit(10) constructs paging object telephone numbers. The data converting unit(10) receives a telephone number list with a text file type, converts the telephone list, and stores the converted telephone number list in a database. If a paging test is started, a telephone paging control unit(11) receives a paging telephone number through a data processing unit(11) and attempts a telephone conversation through an ARS(Automatic Response System)(7). The attempted result and the selection of an answerer are transmitted to the data processing unit(12), and the data processing unit(12) records the attempted result and the selection of the answerer. If the answerer selects a two-times mistake, the telephone number is alerted to an operator because of the telephone number abnormally connects to a line. Telephone paging test remote devices connect to telephone paging test main devices to be regionally separated through a TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol)(9) and a TCP/IP(13), respectively. The telephone paging test remote devices perform an emulation through a remote control unit(15) and remotely control the data converting unit(10), the data processing unit(11), and the telephone paging control unit(12) for reducing a paging test time and increasing a use efficiency.
