The door panel is a sandwich plate with insulating core and with an aperture (1) for glazing panels. The edges of the aperture and the edges of the inserted panel are enclosed in profiled strips. The insulating core is lined with two outer metal plates (3, 4) and at least one of these projects over the edge of the aperture or into the aperture. The protruding outer plate is located on the outside of the sandwich plate exposed to break-in.
