This invention refers to a process and apparatus for decontamination of atmospheric air by suction using molecular turbo pump, bubbling with pressure through a horizontal piping system perforated at its upper part, placed within two tanks, containing water starting from zero to four °C and calcium hydroxide respectively, until reaching its maximum decontamination level; inside tank one, the contaminants sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen monoxide, form sulphurous, sulfuric, carbonic and nitric acids, neutralizing and pumping them calcium hydroxide from the storage adjacent tank, obtaining sulfates, carbonates and nitrates; obtained directly on the second one. The suspended particles will be trapped in the liquids, settling as sediment like the salts, suctioning from the bottom by a horizontal net piping system with perforations at its lower parts and directing it to exterior filters by means of a hydraulic pump. The ozone will be decomposed in oxygen (inside the aerial chamber) when in contact with organic rubber curtains and, heated with a net system of electrical resistances placed at the vault roof, expulsing the decontaminated air to the exterior by means of a chimney with molecular turbo pump, rising to the atmosphere by convection.
